Position Publix® and DanoneWave® as the go-to choice for healthy meals.
Many people struggle to find quick, nutritious breakfast options that fit into their busy lifestyles. In partnership with Publix®, DanoneWave® sought to create a digital hub offering easy-to-follow recipes while promoting their products as the essential ingredients for a healthy start to the day.

Crafting a solution around our busy mom
Jessica is a busy working mom balancing her career and family life. Her mornings are hectic, with limited time to prepare breakfast before she and her kids head out the door. Despite her packed schedule, Jessica is health-conscious and strives to provide nutritious meals for her family. Picking up the perfect wireframe for evergreen healthy breakfast
We designed a seamless, user-friendly digital hub to connect busy families like Jessica's with healthy breakfast options. Our wireframes focused on simplifying the discovery process—making it easy to explore nutritious recipes, discover new products, and make smarter morning choices. Through intuitive navigation, clear categorization, and a mobile-first design, we laid the foundation for an engaging experience that brings healthy meals just a click away.
Features not included
Search and Like functionalities were initially excluded due to the limited content available. However, as more recipes are added, these features will become increasingly valuable.

Bringing a whimsical look to the nutritional world
Facing a tight project timeline, we opted for a React-based design system to speed up development. To preserve the campaign's unique identity, we customized the system, balancing sharp design elements with an inviting, whimsical aesthetic. Inspired by the Perfect Pick-Me-Up key visuals, we crafted a cohesive, engaging user experience that aligned with both the creative vision and the project's constraints.


Retrospective
Embracing Design Systems
While I was accustomed to using brand guidelines, this project marked our shift to design systems. The transition opened up new possibilities, allowing us to create something far more scalable and reusable than brand guidelines could ever achieve. This change not only streamlined our workflow but also enabled us to implement minor improvements more quickly and efficiently.
Communication, communication, communication
As we transitioned into development, it became crucial for every team member to fully understand the technological limitations of having the site hosted on Publix.com. By fostering open dialogue, we overcame these challenges and ensured the best possible user experience.
